My love for all things technical began circa 1985 when I started spending my time dis- and re-assembling radios and blenders while hacking on my Commodore 64 computer for fun. (I soon upgraded to a Commodore 128).

I have since become a "real" programmer. My career began in 1994, building web sites, creating DVDs, designing databases, programming interactive CD-ROMS, compressing media and managing web servers. I now spend the majority of my time programming in PHP for the web.

The only cool thing about graduating Valedictorian in high school and Summa Cum Laude in college is that you occasionally get to mention it in casual conversation or on your bio. So far, I have found no other related perks.

But my passion for excellence in academics long ago migrated to my professional life to the delight of those I work with (or so they say). I manage all aspects of our clients' accounts, including updating and maintaining their web sites.
